Private Yoga Sessions

We believe that in order to develop a yoga practice that best meets your unique needs and goals, one-on-one time with a yoga teacher on a regular basis is very useful. We recommend working one-on-one with a teacher on a regular basis, whether that is once a week, once a month, or once every few months, and supporting the private session work with group classes, especially if you are new to yoga. We are excited to be able to offer affordable Private Yoga Sessions, bundled into our monthly memberships, or for custom Private Yoga Packages, please email katie@chattahoocheeyoga.com.

Thai Yoga Bodywork

Thai Yoga Bodywork, also known as Thai Yoga Massage, is an ancient therapeutic art form rooted in Ayurvedic medicine. During these sessions the practitioner moves the client through various yoga poses while palming and pressing certain pressure points on the body. This technique allows the client to surrender to complete release and relaxation. This is why some people might call this practice Lazy Person's Yoga!  Some of the health benefits of this healing art are deeper stretching, relief in muscular tension, and balancing of the energetic body. Unlike a table massage, this practice is performed on a comfy mat where both practitioner and client are wearing clothes that allow for easy movement and stretching.
